We are thrilled to announce that Velotio has recently received the ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
This allocade is the international standard that provides a framework for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The framework helps companies have secure information systems to document sensitive information regarding data security, company information, and IT systems.
As ISO 27001 certification puts it, “Velotio Technologies’ Information Security Management System (ISMS) is scoped to include a fully remote workforce delivering SaaS Solutions, Managed Services, DevOps, SRE, Data Engineering, Cloud Consulting Services, and Products to all the internal and external clients, specifically with regard to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all the associated data.” Receiving the ISO/IEC 27001 certificate is a testament that Velotio has been meeting the highest international (data) security standards.
Velotio always strives to abide by the standards of ISO 27001 based on three principles. These include:
- Confidentiality: Preventing that information would be available to unauthorized individuals and/or systems.
- Integrity: Ensuring that only authorized people can modify information.
- Availability: Ensuring that information is accessible to authorized persons at the right moment and within set deadlines.
We have been trying to incorporate a comprehensive framework for Information security principles in our system since its inception.
