1. How long have you been working with Velotio?

I have been working with Velotio for more than 3 years.

But it feels like I've been here for so long. The aspect that excites me more while working with this firm is the healthy & transparent work culture, flexibility and goal oriented opportunities they promote.

2. How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I joined Velotio as a fresher and my growth ever since has been tremendous. I got to work on cutting edge technologies, got the opportunity to build innovative products for some big names like NASDAQ. I’m enjoying being a part of open source contributions and maintaining my learning graph of the product engineering business even out of the technical tract.

With the opportunities I acquired, you can know me as a Tech Lead here today and I help lead product engineering for serving several customers.

3. What is your favorite thing about working at Velotio?

The most amazing thing about working at Velotio is that everyone here is groomed and encouraged to be a leader. Our founders have always encouraged me to not be a small cog of a big system but rather learn to own entire pieces of these systems and work my way up to become a more significant asset.

4. What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

I am an avid investor so I like to read up books on finance and capital markets in my free time

 5. What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

Ans: I drink a lot of coffee. I’m talking five cups per day, minimum (maybe more). I also like to brew my own coffee as a hobby and I own a lot of coffee brewing equipment like an Aeropress,  a V60, a manual espresso machine, some coffee grinders and a coffee drip machine.

6. Where’s your favorite place in the world?

I love perceiving the peace while beholding waves and the ocean. There are a couple of quiet and empty beaches in the west coastal areas of India that I love to visit to enjoy the calmness of nature and enjoy fresh air.

7. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?

I have been reading up on Scott Forstall, he leads the original software engineering team of iPhone and iPad. He is also a popular geek of designing engineering user interfaces (UIs) for software. 

His journey inspires me every single day and I would love to grab a chance to have a conversation with him and I know this will be an insane opportunity of a lifetime.

Curious, Obsessive,and Calculative

9. What tv show are you binge watching right now?

I like light-headed shows so I’ve been watching Community and Modern Family. a lot

10. If you could have any superpower what would it be?

I would want all the Iron Man superpowers: a brilliant intellect, an ocean of cash, and a killer charisma.

11. What is one food that you cannot resist?

Quoting Joey from Friends: “Pizza. We like pizza!”.
