1. How has your career grown since starting at the company?

Velotio has helped me transition from an individual contributor to a Lead where I can not only contribute, but also mentor others. With the right tools, and the right exposure, I can now visualize the requirements of the project clearly. I am able to see the big picture and plan the execution effectively. 

2. What is your favorite thing about working at Velotio?

It is definitely the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies. Technology is reshaping all aspects of our society and changing the world as we know it. And it surely feels amazing to work on projects that will impact the lives of countless others.

3. What career advice would you give to aspiring young engineers?

Understand the bigger picture - always ask the what, why and how. One should always stay curious, no matter how small a task may seem. This way, you’ll definitely end up learning something new.

6. What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

Read a book, listen to music or sometimes just nothing at all. 

7. What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I brew a lot of Gong fu-style tea. This involves a much higher leaf-to-water ratio and shorter brewing time, which gives you much better control over the extraction process.

8. Where’s your favorite place in the world?

Home sweet home!

9. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?

Andrew York, a Grammy award-winning classical Guitarist and Composer whose music I have grown to love. 

10. If you could have any superpower what would it be?

Tranquil Caffeine Mode! 

A deceptively calm but alert state of mind which helps you process information in the blink of an eye.
